Gordo's Brain!

Gary asked for it. One of the everlasting appeals of the Muppet Show was the amazing range of guests that they had on the show: Carol Burnett, John Cleese, Rita Moreno, Don Knotts, even George Burns (repeatedly) and Vincent Price.

My absolute favourite had to be Alice Cooper. I vividly remember this show from the original airing. I had thought it was Hallowe’en, but the Muppet Wiki says it was late March 1978. Amazingly, the entire show is on YouTube:

It’s amazing the things that stick in a guy’s brain for 30+ years. How things have changed, though. Can you imagine the uproar if they tried to do something like this today? Yikes.
