Author: As I said, this has been a dreary, damp, crappy winter. One thing I can be very glad of, though: I don’t live in the Arctic.
I like the cold. Love it, in fact. But, the darkness would really drive me squirrelly.
I saw a new Tropicana ad on TV last night. They brought the “sun” to Inuvik (200km North of the Arctic Circle) on January 8 this year. After 31 days of no sun:

O couldn’t take a month of darkness either. I mean, I love the night time, btu that’s just depressing. I recently saw the film “30 Days of Night” which is a mildly bad horror film that takes place in Alaska during the no sun month… Yup, I couldn’t take it.
Yep, I’ve seen it too, Susan. Mildy bad, but reasonably stylish. :-0
